Women's Ministries  

Women’s Ministries Unlimited is the women’s organization of the Assemblies of God. Each congregation functions
independently, using guidelines from our National and District Offices.

LWCF Women’s Ministries is comprised of various women's interest groups which are interest and age appropriate.

Dorcas – Hands for Missions
~ Director, Marcelle Smithson, PH 760-728-2167
~Our objective: Provide supplemental support for various
   missionary causes.
~ Principle source of funding is derived from selling hand-made
   quilts, sewn by our Dorcas team members.
~ We partner with other AG Women's Ministries groups throughout the So. Cal.    District, in donating a large number of quilts, bedding articles, bags for
   notions, toiletries and toys to Love Lift, a    registered charity of Project Hope.
~ A crucial part of our ministry is the support of specific, individual orphans through    Latin American Childcare and the San Diego    Chapter of Teen Challenge.
~ In our local community, we provide meals for shut-ins, funeral receptions and    other benevolent needs that arise.
~ We meet on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of each month from September
    through June.
~ Work sessions are from 9:30AM – 12:30PM (Lunch is served at 12:00 Noon).

~ A ministry to single, senior women, 62+. Join us for lunch after church on Sunday.
   All senior single ladies are invited to join our group.
~ Our ministry focus is on fellowship, benevolence and seeing after the needs of senior single women.
~ Social events are periodically planned and we have a wonderful time going out to lunch together every    Sunday after church .
~ Many of our members participate in the Dorcas group and other women's ministries.
~ Single senior ladies...It won't be as much fun without YOU!
